COMPAL BROADBAND NETWORKS troubleshooting
If unintentionally you fail to recall your login credentials, then the router may not function efficiently. To resume a proper router functioning you will have to reset it.
Spot the reset button on the router’s base and press the same for 20-30 seconds approximately. This will set the changed settings with the factory default values.
Note: Resetting must be the final resolution. However, if you can log in to the control panel, then revert the settings with the previously noted values for any kind of router issues.
If you want to enhance the router’s network security, then you must be able to get into the setup section of it which requires a valid set of IPP and username/password combinations. Check the tag at the router’s back for these details. If not found, then use the router name and model to find the correct one.
Your router is specified with a default login username and password because of which it might be at a high risk of hacking or trespassing. Make sure you change them periodically.
